Therapy Specializations

My practice is 100% telehealth and I am licensed to provided therapy in the state of Ohio.

Anxiety and Mood Disorders

Sometimes, life just feels heavy. Whether it’s a constant sense of worry that won't shut off or a cloud of sadness that makes even small tasks feel impossible, mood and anxiety disorders have a way of stealing your joy. They don’t just live in your head—they impact your sleep, your relationships, and your ability to show up for your own life.

It can feel like this is just 'how things are' now, but I want you to know it doesn't have to stay this way. Anxiety and depression are deeply challenging, but they are also highly treatable. With the right diagnosis and a plan tailored to you, we can work on quietening the noise and helping you regain your footing. You deserve to do more than just 'function'—you deserve to feel like yourself again.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

OCD is often misunderstood as just being 'neat' or 'organized,' but in reality, it can feel like your mind is stuck on a loop of intrusive thoughts and exhausting rituals. It’s a thief of time and mental energy, making even simple decisions feel high-stakes and draining your ability to be present.

The good news is that you don't have to stay trapped in that cycle. OCD is highly treatable with the right tools. Together, we can work on shrinking the power those thoughts have over you, giving you back your time and the freedom to live life on your own terms

Trauma

Trauma doesn’t always look like one loud, singular event. Often, it lives quietly under the surface—showing up as a constant sense of 'on-guard,' difficulty trusting others, or feeling disconnected from your own body. Whether you experienced a specific crisis or a long season of high stress, those experiences can reshape how you see the world and yourself.

It’s exhausting to carry the weight of the past into every new day. But while trauma can be deeply disruptive, it doesn’t have to be a life sentence. Healing is possible. Together, we’ll work to process those experiences at a pace that feels safe for you, helping you move from simply 'surviving' the day to feeling grounded and secure in the present moment.

Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder

ADHD is so much more than just ‘being distracted.’ It can feel like your brain has too many tabs open at once, making it exhausting to start tasks, stay organized, or quiet the mental noise. When your internal engine is always running, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and misunderstood.

It’s not a character flaw—it’s how your brain is wired. Together, we can move past the shame and frustration to build practical strategies that actually work for your life. You don’t have to work harder than everyone else just to break even; you can learn to navigate the world in a way that feels sustainable.

Life Transitions and Grief

Life has a way of shifting beneath our feet, sometimes through a choice we’ve made and other times through a loss we never saw coming. Whether you’re navigating a career change, a breakup, or the profound weight of grief, these transitions can leave you feeling untethered and unsure of who you are now.

Grief and change aren't problems to be 'fixed,' but experiences to be honored and integrated. We’ll work together to find your footing again, giving you the space to process the pain of what’s ended while slowly building a path toward what comes next. You don’t have to navigate the 'in-between' alone.

Relationships, Parenting and Family Dynamics

Our most important relationships are often where we feel the most joy—and the most frustration. Whether you’re struggling to connect with a partner, feeling overwhelmed by the demands of parenting, or navigating complicated family patterns, it’s easy to feel stuck in a cycle of reactive arguments and exhaustion.

You don’t have to figure it out by trial and error. We can work together to untangle those dynamics, improve how you communicate, and set boundaries that actually stick. My goal is to help you move away from the 'autopilot' of old habits and toward a home life that feels more connected and a lot more peaceful.

My Approach

I don’t believe in a "one size fits all" model. Depending on what you’re walking through, we might use a few different tools to help you feel like yourself again:

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing)

A specialized way to help your brain finally "file away" painful or traumatic memories so they stop feeling so intense and overwhelming in the present.

ERP (Exposure & Response Prevention)

The gold standard for OCD and phobias. We work together at a safe pace to help you face intrusive thoughts without feeling forced into your usual rituals or compulsions.

DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy)

Think of this as a "life skills" toolkit. It’s perfect for learning how to manage big emotions, stay grounded in the moment, and navigate tricky relationships.

CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)

This helps us look at the "loop" between your thoughts and your mood. We’ll identify those loud, negative inner voices and practice shifting them into something more balanced.

IFS-Informed (Internal Family Systems)

This approach recognizes that we all have different "parts" of ourselves—like a part that’s a perfectionist or a part that’s deeply anxious. We’ll work to understand and heal those parts rather than just fighting against them.

Motivational Interviewing

Sometimes we know we want to change, but we feel stuck or unsure. This is a conversational way to help you find your own internal "spark" and the confidence to take the next step.
